Introducing Jeremy Clarkson

Jeremy Clarkson is the rock, when it comes to Top gear hosts. Jeremy has hosted "Top Gear" since 1988 when the first run started to 1999 then again in 2002 when it was relaunched. He loves to drive around corners very fast, yelling "POWER" at the top of his lungs. He test drives most of the super cars, and hosts star in the reasonably prices car and plays a big part in all the top gear challenges. He loves to make fun of the other two for being "Captin Slow" or for being a "short pilluc." for more info on Jeremy go here

Top Gear-- welcome

Welcome to the world of Top Gear. It began in 1977 as a conventional motoring magazine show. Running from 27 October 1988 to 3 February 2000, in the programmer’s original format, and then again from 20 October 2002, when it was relaunched in a new format after a brief period off the air. As it is now the show has three great hosts, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. Their love for cars is only matched by their wit, knowledge and expertise. They're relationships make the show a laugh to watch. The show's focus is to educate, entertain, and showcase the world of the "petrol head" (aka "gear head") and the cars in which they worship so much. New segments were also added, when the show was reborn in 2002 including "Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car", "The Cool Wall", "Car News", "Power Laps", and one-off features such as races, competitions and the frequent destruction of caravans. You don’t have to like cars to be entertained. You must remember though it is British.
